You will! Infant massage is a hands-on learning experience for parents and caregivers. I'll guide you through each technique so you feel comfortable and confident massaging your baby.
Classes consist of one 60-minute session, with flexibility based on your baby's needs. A follow-up phone call is included approximately two weeks after your class to answer questions and provide additional support.
I travel to a location of your choice, such as your home, church, or community center. Classes are available within a 30-mile radius of Kenwood Towne Centre in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a $20 travel fee. Locations beyond this radius may require an additional travel fee.
Anyone involved in your baby's care is welcome! Infant massage focuses on bonding, communication, and nurturing touch. Parents, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers are encouraged to participate and learn the techniques.
I only have one baby but my partner and I both want to learn?
I can provide infant-sized dolls to ensure hands-on learning for everyone present.
I have multiples, do I have to pay double/tripple the price?
Absolutely not. Price is per family regardless the number of infants. Please have one adult per baby for the class.
Infant massage classes are especially beneficial for babies between 1 and 6 months of age.
All babies are welcome! Classes can be adapted to accommodate babies born prematurely or those with developmental, medical, or sensory needs. Instruction is tailored to support your baby's individual comfort and abilities.
You'll receive massage oil, a handout illustrating the techniques learned, and additional educational resources covering infant communication, positioning, and sleep. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and practice the techniques with guidance.
